Aloha & Welcome!

Welcome to the website for the Process Work Institute of Hawaii. We are joining with the worldwide network of Process Work institutes. While each institute follows and emphasizes key commonalities, each center also has its unique flavor and focus. First, we acknowledge we are on the sacred lands of the Native Hawaiian people and everything we do must keep this in mind and what we do needs to connect with, invite in, and support the Native people who are our neighbors.

The Process Work Institute of Hawaii welcomes people to train here and online in a combination of offerings. Coming to seminars on the Big Island will be a special treat that involves Process Work teaching, Process Work integrating with other spiritual traditions, and plenty of time to enjoy the healing power of this land. Specific areas of focus and interest include healing history—personal and collective trauma; a trauma-aware emphasis on Process Work; Deep diversity work; Deep bodywork; Organizational and systemic change; Integrating spiritual traditions with Process Work; coma work training and death and dying work;  Working with altered and extreme states; Family therapy and community-based healing, and a special emphasis on integrating dance and movement and Aikido practices with Process Work. Also integrating Sage Emery’s multi-dimensional approach.

We are offering certificates in deep bodywork and healing history and then building towards a full diploma at a distance program. We welcome students from all over the world who feel this is the right base for them and will continue to add on faculty. See the faculty page to learn about our international team we are putting together.  With specific workshops and participants who are interested, we can also invite local shamans and Kahuna teachers to teach us and lead us in ceremonies for an even richer healing and learning journey."

Seminars will be structured in a way that truly follows and respects our bodies. We are suggesting a format where participants will have a 3-hour break in the afternoon. One of the best beaches on the island is 25 minutes away and also 25 minutes away is the best snorkeling on this island. Volcano National Park is about an hour and ten minutes from here and the wonderful tourist areas in Kona about 45 minutes away.  We are just finishing a beautiful large seminar room here with an incredible view. Often on the land, there will be avocados, grapefruit, bananas, and papaya ready to pick and eat.

We can’t wait to be with you here. We will be announcing classes in Process Work soon. We also have yoga, Qi Gong, Native American, Aikido, Chinese medicine and healings, multi-dimensional work; sacred drum making, and drumming workshops—all bringing some of the best teachers in their areas in the world wanting to come teach areas we feel will support this work.
